In addition to iodine, kelp also provides antioxidants (carotenoids and flavonoids), antioxidants minerals (manganese and zinc) as well as fatty acids, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, vitamin K, vitamin A and other nutrients. We recommend using just 1 gram (1 teaspoon = 5g) per day. Each packet should therefore last 100 days. Simply add your kelp powder to your favourite smoothie, or mix with with water or fruit juice.
What is the Best Before Date?
The Best Before End (BBE) date for our current kelp powder stock is shown in the footer at the bottom of the purchase table.
A BBE date details when the powder will start to lose quality. The powder will last beyond its best before date if stored properly. A BBE date should not to be confused with a Use By date. A Use By date is required by food products which are unsafe to eat beyond that date.
